The protection of your personal data is important to me. This statement informs you about which data is collected when visiting this website, how it is used, and what rights you have. This website consciously refrains from tracking thru Google Analytics, Google Fonts, and Google reCAPTCHA.
1. Responsible Party
Responsible for data processing on this website is the entity mentioned in the imprint (Michael Braun, “D.j. Mr. Brown”). You can find the complete contact details in the imprint of this website.
2. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider: goneo Internet GmbH, Zum Nordpol 15, 33790 Halle (Westf.), Germany.
The personal data collected by the host (especially server log files, see point 4) are processed for the purpose of ensuring the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. With the host, there is a contract for order processing (AVV) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
3. General Information and Legal Basis
Personal data will only be processed to the extent necessary to provide the website and its functions. Legal bases depend on the process:
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR – Consent (e.g., newsletters, loading external content/maps), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR – Initiation/fulfillment of a contract or responding to inquiries, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR – legitimate interest (e.g., secure operation, protection against spam).
4. Server Logfiles
When the website is accessed, the host automatically stores information in server log files that your browser transmits: browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname, request time, and IP address. A combination with other data sources does not take place. Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The data will be deleted after a short period of time.
5. SSL/TLS Encryption
This page uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons, identifiable by the “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
6. Contact Form
If you send me a message thru the contact/booking form, the data you enter (name, email address, subject, and message) will be transmitted via email for the purpose of processing your request and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (for contract-related inquiries, e.g., booking) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (general inquiries). The data will remain in my email inbox until the purpose of storage no longer applies or you request deletion.
Spam protection: The form is protected against automated abuse thru technical measures (invisible verification field, time check, and a simple math problem). No external services like Google reCAPTCHA are used; no additional personal data is transferred to third parties and no cookies are set. For sending, the SMTP server of my host (goneo) is used.
7. Newsletter
For the newsletter, I need your email address (name optional). The registration is done using the double opt-in procedure (confirmation link). To verify consent, the email address, if applicable, name, the times of registration and confirmation, as well as the used IP address are stored. The data is used exclusively for sending and proof of consent and is not shared with third parties. Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link; after that, your data will be deleted from the distribution list. Storage and distribution are carried out within my WordPress system at goneo; an external newsletter service provider is not used.
8. Comment Function
If a comment function is activated and you leave a comment, the information in the comment form, the time of creation, and your IP address will be stored. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a or lit. f GDPR. (If you do not use comments, this point can be omitted.)
9. Embedded music, video, and livestream content (Spotify, YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch)
On this website, music, video, and livestream content from third parties may be embedded (e.g., Spotify player, YouTube/Vimeo videos, YouTube/Twitch livestreams at events). These contents are only loaded after an active click from you (Click-to-Load). Before the click, no connection is established to the providers’ servers and no data is transmitted to them.
As soon as you load such content, you consent to the connection with the respective provider (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). In the process, your IP address is transmitted to the provider; they may set cookies. Data transfer to third countries (including the USA) is possible. Providers are:

10. Location Maps (OpenStreetMap)
An OpenStreetMap location map may be embedded on event detail pages. The map is only loaded once you have consented to the loading of external content via the privacy notice or have activated the map by clicking on it. Prior to this, no connection to OpenStreetMap is established, and no data is transmitted. When the map loads, your IP address is transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s servers; this may involve data transfer to third countries.
The legal basis for this is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. No Google mapping or tracking services are used. Provider: OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom – Privacy Policy.
11. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
You can choose to subscribe to push notifications (e.g., regarding new releases, events, or live streams). Activation requires your explicit action (clicking “Enable notifications” and confirming in your browser). The legal basis for this is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
In doing so, we store the technical subscription data generated by the browser (the so-called push endpoint, associated keys, and the browser identifier/user agent). This data is stored exclusively on our server (WordPress); no external push service provider is used as a data processor.
Technical delivery is handled by your browser’s or device’s push service (e.g., Google FCM for Chrome/Android, Mozilla for Firefox, Apple for Safari/iOS). We have no control over these services; data may be transmitted to these providers (potentially to third countries). Message content is transmitted in encrypted form.
You can unsubscribe from notifications at any time—either via the same button on the website or through your browser’s or device’s notification settings. Subscriptions that are cancelled or become invalid are deleted.
Storage period: until you unsubscribe or the subscription becomes invalid.
12. Fonts
This website uses only fonts stored locally on its own server. No fonts are loaded from external servers (e.g., Google Fonts) when the page is accessed; no data is transmitted to third parties.
13. Cookies and Local Storage
The website does not itself set any tracking or marketing cookies. Technically necessary cookies may be set by WordPress in connection with specific functions (e.g., the comment function or login to the administration area). Your selection in the privacy notice (consent to load external content) is stored exclusively locally in your browser (localStorage) and is not transmitted to a server. When embedded third-party content is loaded (see sections 9 and 10), those third parties may set their own cookies.
14. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21), and the right to withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). To exercise this right, a simple notification sent to the contact details provided in the legal notice is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
15. Objection to promotional emails
We hereby object to the use of the contact details published in compliance with legal notice requirements for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information materials.
